Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) - No Secondary Vulcanization

SiOResin YAC29 is a two-component, translucent addition-cure liquid silicone rubber (LSR). After cross-linking, no secondary vulcanization is required. Conventional silicone rubber requires secondary vulcanization (baking at 200°C for 4 hours) after the initial curing to pass LFGB and VOC tests. Our YAC29 series liquid silicone rubber ensures that the volatile organic compound (VOC) content (200°C/4hr) is controlled below 0.3% without secondary vulcanization, while also exhibiting excellent mechanical properties.

It is especially suitable for applications involving food contact, infant care, medical-grade silicone products, and thermal molding products.

No secondary vulcanization liquid silicone rubber (LSR) avoids contamination caused by secondary vulcanization; Reduces the risk of delamination, especially in overmolded products; Saves energy, is environmentally friendly, and minimizes the waste of human resources.

Application Areas

Baby silicone bottles, pacifiers, masks, kitchen silicone products, diving masks, smart wearables, Medical Devices, food contact products, infant care products and other injection-molded silicone products.

Usage Instructions

* Mix components A and B through a static mixer at a ratio of 1:1, and inject the mixed material into the mold using an injection machine. The material must be full. (It can also be hand-stirred and then poured into the mold for compression molding).

* Recommended curing conditions: 125℃ for 3 minutes (thickness 2mm).

* Specific molding conditions can be determined through testing based on the thickness or size of the product.

Safety, Packaging, and Storage

1. Packaging Specifications: 20/200 kg per drum.

2. Storage: The product should be stored in a cool, ventilated place, avoiding direct sunlight, isolated from fire sources, and away from heat sources.

3. Transportation: During transportation, the product should be well sealed to prevent moisture, strong alkali, strong acid, and rainwater impurities from entering.
