Acrylic-Modified Polysilazane Resin | SIOResin® SIO-9261

Acrylic-Modified Polysilazane Resin is a high-performance polymer consisting of a polysilazane backbone grafted with acrylate functional groups, combining the excellent thermal, mechanical, and chemical stability of polysilazane with the rapid UV-curing capability of acrylates.

SIOResin® SIO-9261 is a one-component, UV-curable acrylic-modified polysilazane resin designed to deliver exceptional hardness, adhesion, and durability for advanced coating and bonding applications.

After curing, SIO-9261 forms a colorless, transparent coating film with very high pencil hardness (≥6H), superior yellowing resistance, outstanding weatherability, and excellent mechanical performance. Its amino functional groups can form covalent bonds with substrates, enhancing adhesion and mechanical strength. The resin is particularly suitable for UV-curable coatings in high- and low-temperature bonding, anti-corrosion weather-resistant coatings, insulating electrical components, and protective coatings for machinery and industrial equipment.
